Good BBQ... I need to try their chicken fried steak.
Great little family run restaurant in Stamford with tasty, shut-you-up meals. Cozy small-town vibe with regular locals discussing cotton crops and Friday night lights. Very friendly and attentive service. Our BBQ choices were generous and tasty, with surprisingly low prices. Brisket was a little dry but the bark was peppery great! Sweet ribs fell off the bone. Sausage ok. Beans and tater salad very good. Loaded baked potato certainly was. Eyed other customers’ burgers and catfish and every plate looked scrumptious, and was picked clean! Worth getting off the highway for a meal!
The food is really good. Ribs were excellent, Beans are excellent, Coleslaw was also excellent! The brisket and sausage are pretty good. The ice tea is very good and comes in a large glass. This is a family owned and run business, the type I prefer. I will make it a point to eat here whenever I travel to Stamford.
